Kenichi Tsuda教授致力于植物免疫网络结构与动力学的研究,主要以拟南芥为研究对象,研究方向涉及植物免疫中的激素网络、植物转录重编程、气孔孔径调控、生物胁迫和非生物胁迫crosstalk以及MAPK信号通路等许多方面。除此外,为了更好的理解植物免疫如何影响细菌防御行为, Kenichi Tsuda教授建立了一种从感染的植物叶中物理分离细菌细胞从而对细菌mRNA进行RNA-seq的研究方法,植物和细菌的双重转录组分析将有助于全面了解植物和细菌之间的相互作用。至今Kenichi Tsuda教授已在PNAS、Annual Review of Phytopathology、Plant Cell、PLoS Genetics、Nature Communication、Nature Plant等期刊发表论文50余篇。担任《Plant-Microbe Interaction》、《Frontiers in Microbiology and Plant Science》的审稿编辑和《Journal of Plant Research》的编委会成员。
